The Catholic Schools Foundation, Inc. (CSF) supports the educational mission
of the Church while helping to provide programs
and services that insure optimal educational opportunities
for all students regardless of race, religion,
national origin, or gender attending Roman Catholic
primary and secondary schools located in the Archdiocese
of Boston.
Today, The Catholic Schools Foundation offers
the following opportunities for donors to impact
the lives of children:
The
Inner-City Scholarship Fund is the signature
program of The Catholic Schools Foundation. Through
this fund, thousands of children in need receive
partial scholarships to attend Catholic schools
in the Archdiocese of Boston. Scholarships are
given primarily to students in high poverty neighborhoods
and are awarded without regard to race, religion,
national origin or gender.
Catholic Schools — Computers and Networks
program has a goal of providing computer wiring,
internet access, and computers to 174 Catholic
schools. Phase I of the project wired 25 inner-city
schools. Phase II seeks to wire an additional
36 schools.
The
Counseling Program addresses the emotional
needs of children attending inner-city schools.
This service facilitates the healthy growth and
development of students.
The Inner-City Scholarship Fund Professionals’
Team provides opportunities for young adults
to interact with students and schools in the inner-city
by sponsoring tutoring programs, a speaker’s
bureau, and industry tours as well as holding
fund raisers.
The
Neighborhood Schools Fund provides scholarships
to low-income students who wish to attend schools
located outside of the inner-city.
