Why Give

Nationally the cost per pupil at public schools is an average of $12,000. Catholic schools save tax-payers over 20 billion dollars per year. In Boston, the average cost of educating a student in a Catholic school is about $6,000 and the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Boston save taxpayers $535M each year! Aside from the financial benefits of Catholic schools, Boston’s parochial schools have higher graduation and college acceptance rates. Catholic schools have long been believed to be inaccessible, expensive and exclusive to those who can afford to attend. By providing critical support to students in our most in-need communities like Lawrence, Lynn, Brockton, and Roxbury, the Catholic Schools Foundation is not just providing scholarships, it is expanding access to high-quality schooling for all those who desire it and bringing opportunities to these communities.

When you make a donation to CSF, you are ensuring the vitality of these schools for years to come. You are making an investment, not just in students and schools, but into building and strengthening communities. Join us today and your tax-deductible gift will provide a scholarship to a student in need. Building Minds, transforming lives and strengthening communities truly begins with you.
