1998:
An anonymous donor contributes $1 million; establishes Counseling Program.
Led by Stephen Birmingham and Karen DeWolff Genta, the Young Professionals' Team expands mission beyond fundraising to include Tutoring, Speakers' Bureau, and Industry Tour Programs.
Kessler Financial Services employees adopt Cathedral Elementary School, providing new computers, after-school tutoring, field trips, painting and repairs, and a graduation luncheon.
1999:
The Better Opportunities Scholarship Foundation contributes over $1 million to The Catholic Schools Foundation.
Jack O'Connor begins regional fundraising efforts for the Lowell Catholic Schools.
2000:
The Counseling Program implements "Anti-Bully Program" at St. William Elementary School in Dorchester.
2001:
Catholic School - Computers and Networks (CS-CAN) project launched by John and Diddy Cullinane and Don McInnis, providing Catholic schools Internet access by 2004; over $4 million in donations and gifts received.
Sean Dunlavy hired as Executive Director of the Foundation.
2002:
The Inner-City Scholarship Fund awards $4.8 million in partial scholarships to 5,000 students, an increase of $200,000 from the previous year.
CSF moves into a new office space at 260 Franklin Street.
First Annual ICSF Professionals' Team Back to School Cup Golf Tournament held at Hopkinton Country Club.
2003:
First Annual ICSF Play for the Future Golf Tournament, organized by John F. Fish, Suffolk Construction President and CEO, held at Oyster Harbors Club.
2004:
Young Professionals' Team gets new name, ICSF Professionals' Team.
Recruitment Grant Program launched to help schools fill empty seats and increase enrollment.
2005:
Jack Connors leads efforts of the 2010 Strategic Planning Committee.
The first CSF program officer hired to work with schools on allocation of resources.
15th Annual ICSF Dinner Celebration held at Boston Marriott Copley Place for 800 guests; first Building Minds, Changing Lives Award presented to Central Catholic High School in Lawrence.
2006:
Catholic Colleges, CSF, The Archdiocese of Boston, and the Lynch Foundation join forces to promote awareness through campaign, "Your Hope, Our Passion, Their Future".
Mike Reardon is hired as Executive Director of CSF.
2007:
CS-CAN program completed.
WCVB-TV Channel 5 Extreme Makeover: My Hometown partners with CSF to renovate St. Patrick's School in Roxbury.
High School Grant process implemented; High Schools required for the first time to apply for grants to better leverage CSF funds.
Conferences hosted by CSF to help schools network and support each other; first conference in November 2007 regarding 2010 process.
2008:
Guidance Counselor Program becomes part of nationally regarded Boston Schools Connect at Boston College.
2009:
Foundation funds first stage of a comprehensive marketing campaign to promote Catholic
Education as well as a targeted campaign for the Catholic all girls’ schools.
Anonymous donor funds the Hispanic Recruitment Initiative, which in its first year recruits over 100 students to Catholic schools.
2010:
Award winning Marketing Campaign is launched by CSF with the purpose of increasing enrollment in all-girls' Catholic Schools
Working with the Catholic Schools Office, new Catholic Academies were founded in Quincy and Lawrence
