Inner-City Scholarship Fund Annual Back to Class Bus Tour set for May 21, 2008 at North Cambridge Catholic High School

Join us for a unique opportunity to visit North Cambridge Catholic High School (NCC) as part of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF) Back to Class Bus Tour. The outing enables attendees to see how the ICSF significantly impacts the lives of students. Guests will be treated to student-led tours of the school, visiting classrooms and interacting with students along the way. Following the tours, lunch will be served and Peter S. Lynch, Chairman of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, and Robert McCarthy, principal of NCC, will offer comments.

NCC is one of only 19 schools nationwide currently using the Cristo Rey Model. As part of this innovative program, students spend one day a week in the workplaces of a corporate partner, learning valuable skills and earning money towards their own tuition. Since implementation of this model in 2004, NCC has seen its graduation and college acceptance rates remain at 100%.
