Inner-City Scholarship Fund Professionals’ Team to host 5th Annual Back to School Cup Golf Tournament
All proceeds from the Back to School Cup Golf Tournament benefit the Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF). The ICSF grants annual scholarship assistance to low-income students attending primary or secondary Catholic schools in inner-city communities throughout Boston. Since its inception in 1991, the ICSF has raised nearly $59 million, benefiting some 68,000 students. Your participation in the Back to School Cup creates educational opportunities for students in need, so feel free to bring a friend and spread the word!
The Back to School Cup events committee expects over 100 golfers this year, so be sure to sign up right away to ensure your spot on the course! Sponsorship opportunities are also available at various levels ranging from $250 to $10,000. Last year’s Back to School Cup raised just under $20,000 for the Inner-City Scholarship Fund. Participating companies included Prospectiv, NStar, Ernst & Young, Kingston Electric, Marwick Associates, W.T. Phelan, Insource Services, Smart Source, Hire Minds, Whole Foods, Kristall Beverages and McLaughlin & Co. Some of the companies and players at the Tournament have been involved from the very beginning while for others, last year was their first interaction with the Catholic Schools Foundation and Inner-City Scholarship Fund.
