About The Inner-City Scholarship Fund

We believe that education shouldn’t just be a privilege of those who can afford it — it should be accessible to everyone. Last year, the ICSF helped make this possible by providing $6.5 million in scholarship funds to 5,069 students out of 10,757 applicants in Catholic elementary and secondary schools throughout the Archdiocese of Boston. Through the ICSF emergency fund, which was increased to $100,000 this past year, we were able to provide support to an additional 200 students who attended schools that do not receive regular ICSF funding or whose families experienced emergencies, such as a job loss or accident.
