About The Inner-City Scholarship Fund
One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is the gift of a sound education. The
Catholic Schools Foundation, Inc., through its Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF), grants
scholarship assistance annually to needy students attending primary or secondary Catholic
schools in the Archdiocese of Boston. Scholarship assistance is awarded to students without
regard to race, color, gender or creed. Applications for scholarships are available at local
Catholic schools.
In school year 2006-2007, the Inner-City Scholarship Fund provided almost $6,500,000 in
scholarship support to 5,545 students. Along with this remarkable effort, donors like you
also helped provide funding for the Adopt-a-School program, improved teaching materials, our
counseling effort and for technology programs. In addition, a terrific advertising campaign
-- featuring Troy Brown of the New England Patriots -- was made possible by a marketing grant.
In total, $8,187,764.98 was granted to support deserving students and enrich our programs.
