The Technology Program
The Catholic Schools Office was awarded $275,000 to support the efforts of the Office of
Technology. To date, more than 50 inner-city schools have been wired for technology, and
more than $2 million has been awarded to schools in federal E-rate funding as a result
of ongoing efforts.
Marketing Grants
Twenty grants totaling $71,000 were awarded to 20 individual schools for the first time
this year. This support spread the good news in Catholic education through new brochures,
local advertising campaigns, and even new signage.
Strategic Partnerships
CSF has also formed partnerships with several local agencies that serve many of the same
students and communities, including the Boston Ballet, which hosted a CSF night at one of
their May performances, and Facing History and Ourselves, which is working on a Social
Studies curriculum with several schools, including the Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy.
