CSF Scholar Highlight: Kelli Aquino
CSF Scholar, Saint Joseph Prep Senior Accepted into Harvard University
Kelli Aquino’s reputation at Saint Joseph Prep is nothing short of spectacular. Her accomplishments, which include acting as Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, captaining the Robotics team, and serving as President of the National Honor Society, only begin to scratch the surface. The straight-A student, who SJP Head of School Mr. Thomas Nunan notes, “has an incredibly positive attitude and gracious spirit,” was recently accepted into Harvard University.
As a Catholic Schools Foundation Scholar, Kelli embodies what it means to be an exemplary member of the Saint Joseph Prep community. In her final year of high school, she is taking four Advanced Placement courses: Spanish, Physics, Calculus BC, and English Literature. She also has presented at SJP’s Multicultural Day for many years, participated in Book Club and the Computer Science Club, hosted the school podcast for two years, and served as Class President on the Student Council, all while managing a long commute to and from school each day.
CSF boasts a proud college acceptance rate of 100% thanks to the hard work of dedicated students like Kelli. This spring, along with the other CSF Senior Scholars at her school and across 29 high schools in the Archdiocese of Boston, Kelli will graduate from Catholic school thanks in large part to her CSF scholarship. Congratulations, Kelli, on your acceptance into Harvard! CSF wishes you all the best on your college journey!
