Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Horizons Scholarship Program
CSF has proudly partnered with Horizons for Homeless Children for ten years to improve the lives of families facing housing instability. Through this collaboration, CSF gives vulnerable families access to a high-quality, community-centered Catholic education.
Students who exit the Horizons for Homeless Children services are provided with meaningful scholarships from CSF to Catholic schools where students succeed academically and personally in a stable and supportive environment. The initiative offers scholarships that cover up to 90% of tuition, which is guaranteed annually until the student graduates from 8th grade. Scholarships are then available to students attending Catholic high schools. Currently, the Horizons Scholarship Program supports 43 students across 15 Catholic schools in the Greater Boston area.
This year CSF has committed $300,000 to the Horizons Scholarship program. Without this assistance, these students would be unable to access the quality Catholic education that is positively changing the course of their lives.
