    Position Title:  Marketing and Communications Coordinator

    Reports to:  Director of Advancement 

    The Director of Marketing and Communications leads all marketing and communications activities and has direct responsibility for designing and implementing comprehensive marketing, social media, communications, public relations, and event marketing plans. This includes website and brand management.

    Requirements:

    Skills Required:

    The ideal candidate must be self-directed with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. This person must be comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently and independently. The candidate must also possess the skills to align CSF’s goals with its target audiences and identify market opportunities. A minimum of five years of marketing and communications or related experience required. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in MS Office and G-Suite and have database experience. Use of Adobe Photoshop/In Design/Canva, as well as WordPress or other content management systems, is expected.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement the Foundation’s annual marketing and communications strategy with an emphasis
      on measurable social media engagement, including a calendar for public relations across all media outlets
      (print, online, radio, TV, social media), including earned media strategies and press releases, and press
      advisories.
    • Responsible for digital strategy and management, including website and social media with emphasis on
      using SEM and SEO to enhance CSF’s digital marketing and improve analytics. This includes routine
      updates, annual audit of website content, and ongoing monitoring and analysis.
    • Increase use of video and webinars as medium for communication, including but not limited to seasonal, thank you, school and family messages, and solicitations as appropriate.
    • Develop, manage, plan, and report on all aspects of marketing and communication activities including
      website, social media, newsletters (both online and print), advertisements, video projects, solicit materials,
      and other marketing or communications projects as needed or assigned.
    • Responsible for design and production of Annual Report, Monthly E-news, Quarterly Board updates, print
      newsletters and Dinner program book and collateral, event sponsorship ads and additional design and
      production as needed. Coordinating with the Advancement Associate as appropriate.
    • Manage all marketing and communication activities for events including program books, invitations, press
      releases, speaking programs, electronic communications, promotions, event videos, and other materials as
      needed.
    • Develop, maintain and regularly update a library of marketing materials that include but are not limited to
      standardized data sheets, database of student, school and donor stories, talking points, presentation
      materials, informational packets for staff and Board of Trustees, and donor communications.
    • Maintain brand presence and relationships in the Catholic space to ensure CSF is seen as the leading
      Catholic education non-profit in the Boston area.
    • Build strong relationships with local media outlets.
    • Engage with schools, corporate and other partners on the promotion of stories and grants, including, but not
      limited to, press toolkit for grantees to help promote CSF to additional media outlets.
    • Develop and implement brand strategy and ensure the consistent and correct use of all materials related to
      the brand.
    • Other duties as called upon.

    Full-time, exempt position. Schedule includes some weekends and evening events.

    Position Title:  Advancement Associate

    Reports to:  Director of Advancement 

    The Advancement Associate assists in all advancement activities, providing administrative support to the AD, and
    the advancement team as directed by the AD. This individual will also act as the primary Advancement liaison with the
    schools and support stewardship activities in line with advancement goals. This individual will also assist in administrative
    support, school and donor engagement and outreach, special events and marketing as it relates to donor acquisition or
    solicitation.

    Requirements:

    Skills Required:

    The ideal candidate will have knowledge of CSF’s donor base and have strong organizational, interpersonal, and
    collaborative skills. The candidate must understand the urgency of requests and will be actively engaged on a daily basis
    with donors and schools. Candidate must have excellent communication and customer support skills. The ideal candidate
    will be highly skilled in MS Office and G-Suite and have some design and database experience. Minimum three years of
    administrative support experience and Raiser’s Edge proficiency preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    Advancement
    • Assist with donor follow-up calls and other prospect and donor outreach as directed.
    • Work with the Marketing Director on projects as directed by AD.
    • Support and assist Annual Fund Director (AFD) with the stewardship program.
    • Coordinate annual endowment reporting to donors with the AFD.
    • Annual event support and responsibility for dinner guests, ads, and program information, as well as, management of
    event registration.
    • Advancement liaison to schools including, but not limited to, the following:
             o GO and Inspiration Scholar requests to schools and reporting
             o Annual thank you project
             o Annual Christmas card project
             o Scheduling CSF Scholar visits
    • Manage advancement mailings.
    • Budget tracking, coding for advancement team, including credit card coding.
    • Management of the advancement calendar and scheduling for AD (coordinates scheduling, material preparation,
    meeting Minutes and follow-up for the Advancement and Dinner Committees, Advisory Committee and any other
    Committees assigned by AD).
    • Review returned mail for appropriate follow up.
    • Back-up for gift processing and donor acknowledgment.
    • General Operations:
             o Serve as back-up for Executive Assistant as called upon
             o Other duties as assigned
