    Organization: The Catholic Schools Foundation (CSF)

    Position Title: Senior Advancement Officer

    Reports to: Advancement Director (AD)


    Details: Senior Advancement Officer reports to the Advancement Director and manages Prospect Identification and eventual solicitation for constituents with the capacity to give $10k and above annually. This person is responsible for developing and conducting regular prospect research and major gift solicitation, including foundations, individuals, and corporations. This position maintains a personal portfolio of donors and prospects for stewardship and solicitation and is expected to meet monthly benchmarks with donor meetings, calls, and other outreach.

    Requirements:

    Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will be curious,  a self-starter, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently with excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in MS Office and G-Suite and have database experience. Minimum five years of advancement or related experience. Raiser’s Edge (RE) proficiency is preferred.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategies to meet fundraising goals primarily from prospective new and lapsed individuals, corporations, and foundations through consistent review and research ensuring all information is recorded in Raisers’ Edge database.
    • Build and maintain a prospect development program and process through portfolio management and ongoing analysis to ensure that prospects are being qualified, cultivated, solicited, and stewarded in line with the strategic goals of the advancement team.
    • Institutionalize prospect identification process and engagement for all CSF events (pre and post-events). 
    • Regularly analyze prospect and research data and review with the AD to ensure new prospects are moving through the donor life cycle aligned with advancement goals. 
    • Prepare cultivation plans for qualified prospective donors (new and lapsed) and provide guidance and direction to the Advancement Director and Executive Director, ensuring information is captured and recorded accurately in Raiser’s Edge.
    • Responsible for meeting monthly benchmarks for cultivation and solicitation as set by the AD.
    • Manage regular prospect review meetings to ensure new prospects are moving through the donor life cycle using new and existing opportunities.
    • Manage a portfolio of donors as assigned
    • Assist with mail and making deposits and other duties as needed

    Full-time, exempt position.  The schedule includes some weekends and evening events.

    Position Title: Data Manager  

    Reports to: Director of Operations and Allocations and Director of Advancement

     

    Details: This position works closely with the Advancement, Management, and Allocations Teams.  This position is responsible for gift entry, constituent updates, routine import and export of data, report and letter generation, data analysis, accounts payable and monthly credit card reporting.  This position also performs database training and documentation and maintains standards operating procedures for data and accounting.

    Requirements:

    Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum two years Raiser’s Edge (RE) and NXT experience 
    • Preference for candidates who have knowledge of Crystal Reports, Online Express, and Quickbooks Online
    • Highly skilled in G-Suite, MS Office, particularly in Excel
    • Extremely organized and detail oriented, able to mangle multiple projects concurrently 
    • Ability to work successfully in a team environment

     

    Responsibilities:

    Advancement

    • Manage gift and acknowledgement process: timely processing of gifts, monthly financial reports, preparation of acknowledgment letters and pledge reminders, regular gift reports and monthly and post-event reconciliation
    • Maintain data integrity: make all address changes and support staff members making other changes to constituent records, new record creation and general data management, regularly work on database maintenance issues 
    • Document and perform regular data clean-up schedule (i.e. weekly, monthly, annually)  
    • Create reports and lists as requested, including donor listings, event registrations, and school and student data management
    • Serve as the liaison for specific donors as assigned  
    • Produce forms, mailing lists, and letters
    • Update and create Crystal Reports 
    • Prepare and track event registration
    • Assist with mailings, events, and projects as called upon

     

    Allocations

    • Perform Allocations data imports, including budget, scholarship, student, and school data
    • Oversee the Allocations student verification process three times a year, including validating data, creating and/or maintaining custom reports, importing data, and other tasks as needed 
    • Assist with Allocations distributions four times a year, including maintaining up-to-date constituent banking information, creating and/or maintaining custom reports, importing data, and providing requested information to finance for budget reconciliation
    • Support Allocations Associate with tasks related to online express via the database
    • Maintain and create custom reports and queries for students, schools, and allocations budgets in the database as needed 

     

    Operations

    • Complete Accounts Payable process every other week
    • Complete credit card reporting and coding process monthly
    • Maintain and update standard operating procedures for accounting procedures

    Full-time, exempt position.  Schedule includes some evening and weekend events.
