CSF’s Emergency Fund Helps Gabriella Stay in School During a Family Crisis
July 31st, 2024
Gabriella attends Immaculate Conception School in Revere and loves her school community. Unfortunately, her father experienced a health crisis in 2023, resulting in turmoil and family upheaval. The family was unable to count on the father’s income and Gabriella’s mom needed help with tuition payments to keep her daughter safe and supported in her Catholic school.
The Catholic School Foundation’s (CSF) Emergency Fund ensured that Gabriella received the resources she needed to stay at her school where she had the care and love she needed to make it through a difficult time in her life.
The Emergency Fund assists families who experience unexpected financial obstacles. CSF-supported schools can request financial relief on behalf of students and their families at any point throughout the school year. Whether facing unemployment, medical emergencies, or an unforeseen disaster like a house fire, this support helps families manage tuition costs, ensuring that students can continue their education without disruption. CSF's Emergency Fund eases a family's financial burden and allows students to stay enrolled and concentrate on their studies, even during difficult times.
