Glimmer Gala raises $31,000 to benefit the ICSF and St. Patrick School in Lawrence
On May 1, 2009, the Inner-City Scholarship Fund Professionals' Team (PT) hosted nearly 200 guests at the 15th Annual Glimmer Gala at the Seaport Hotel and raised $31,000, a record number for the Glimmer Gala. Corie Fogg was awarded the 2009 ICSF PT Volunteer of the Year Award.

Birmingham Foundation Hispanic Recruitment Initiative Increases Hispanic Enrollment
Thanks to a generous gift of $1.5 million from the Birmingham Foundation in October of 2008, the Catholic Schools Foundation has begun a new program to increase Hispanic enrollment in the 18 elementary and five secondary Catholic schools in the city of Boston.

ICSF Back to Class Bus Tour Visits Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy
The Catholic Schools Foundation hosted the Back to Class Bus Tour on Wednesday May 20, 2009, visiting one of the 89 schools supported by its signature program, the Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF). Over 60 donors and friends of the ICSF attended the Back to Class field trip to the Columbia Campus of Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy (PJP II), to see first-hand how their support of the ICSF helps to transform students' lives.
