One of our CSF senior scholars has been making a huge splash in their local communities. Meet Kelly Nguyen, a senior scholar student from Arlington Catholic High School. Kelly has dedicated herself to a wide range of community service while also excelling in schoolwork and extracurriculars.
As someone who takes community service very seriously, Kelly has gone above and beyond to participate in as many opportunities to give back as possible. Through her local community, Kelly has undertaken tutoring, babysitting, running a car wash in support of breast cancer research, community gardening, and even volunteering at her local senior center. She has been consistently going well past her required hours in pursuit of giving back as much as she can.
On top of a busy schedule helping her community, Kelly has also maintained an outstanding academic placement in the top 10% of her class, all the while enrolled in four AP courses at her school. In addition, she is also an active participant of six clubs including Mock Trial Club, Pre-Med Club, Best Buddies, Women-in-Stem Club, Climate Club, and writes for the literary magazine Imaginary Gardens.
With such an impressive list of community service and academic success, Kelly also works in her family’s dry cleaning business. She plans on studying Biology and Pre-Med in college.
CSF is so proud to support the education of Kelly and so many other students in the Greater Boston area.
