A Grand Opening Made Possible by You
Lawrence Catholic Academy (LCA) has a new home and with it, a renewed sense of hope for students and families. Earlier this week, the school community gathered to celebrate the grand opening of LCA’s brand-new building, a milestone that represents far more than bricks and mortar.
In one of Massachusetts’ poorest communities, the new school stands as a symbol of what’s possible when pastors, families, educators, and neighbors come together to believe in students. The excitement was palpable as 529 eager students walked through their new doors to begin the school year. Classrooms buzzed with energy, laughter, and the joy of learning in a space designed to support their growth and success.
For 300 of those students, they are there because of the generosity of Catholic Schools Foundation (CSF) supporters. The Impact of Scholarships at LCA This year alone, the Catholic Schools Foundation will provide 290 scholarships to students at LCA, totaling more than $1.1 million in tuition support. 50 scholarships to LCA graduates continuing their education at Central Catholic High School through the LCA/Central Catholic High School Continuum Scholarship Program. That’s over $400,000 in support helping students take the next step.
Since the Continuum program began, matriculation from LCA to Central Catholic high school has increased from 37% to 85% a remarkable achievement that reflects both the determination of students and the power of consistent support.
Behind every desk is a story of opportunity and hope. At Lawrence Catholic Academy, those stories are being written everyday thanks to the dedication of teachers, the support of families, and the generosity of donors who believe in Catholic education.
The Catholic Schools Foundation is proud to support the students of LCA. With your help, these new classrooms are filled not just with students, but with scholars who are ready to learn, grow, and thrive.
Together, we can continue to provide life-changing scholarships to students at LCA and across our partner schools.
