CSF’s Fall Distribution on November 21 delivered $8 million in scholarships to 75 Catholic schools for the 2025–26 school year—our first major grant of the year. In total, CSF will provide $16.5+ million in scholarships to 4,000+ students, ensuring that 1 in 8 Catholic school students in the Archdiocese of Boston receives vital financial support. This investment strengthens Catholic education, expands opportunity, and transforms student outcomes across Greater Boston.
Supporting Students in Crisis: $206,000 Awarded Through CSF Emergency Fund

From a young age, Aaliyah Veloz ’26 has been guided by a desire to help others — a passion that has evolved into a deep interest in neuroscience, research, and community service. Supported by her family and the Catholic Schools Foundation (CSF) scholarship, Aaliyah’s education at Central Catholic High School has opened doors to transformative opportunities, including the Broad Summer Scholars Program at MIT and Harvard’s Broad Institute. Through hands-on genetic research, leadership roles, and faith-driven service, she has grown into a dedicated scholar and leader determined to make a lasting impact. As she looks ahead to college, Aaliyah plans to pursue neuroscience or biomedical engineering — continuing her mission to combine curiosity, compassion, and innovation to improve lives.
